Energy Transition and the Demand for Aluminum in the Brazilian Amazon

The authors evaluate the growth of the demand of the energy transition on the consumption of aluminium and its possible effects from mineral extraction in the Brazilian Amazon and particularly for the municipality of Oriximiná, in Pará, where the largest bauxite producer in the country is located.
